Random Tuesday......I have returned!!!!

Wow it has been like 120 days since my last blog! Holy F**K. The funny thing is, I haven't been busy, in fact I have been sitting on my butt since the end of December(knee issues, and that's a post all in itself.) So I figured, hey, what better day to come back than random tuesday...

Men should not be left alone with chainsaws.....seriously. This past weekend my husband decided to "prune" our maple tree

In all fairness the tree had some problems, and we are landscaping our front yard and yada, yada yada, you probably really don't care about the rest...In fact, I don't know if I even have any followers left! I have been following everyones blogs, I just haven't been commenting, I know, I am a horrible blogger, but I promise to be better!!!! Now that I am off work until May, well I have nothing but time. So I plan on blogging and commenting once again!

Halloween!!!!

What a busy freaking weekend!!! 2 birthday parties, shopping for skis, work, Halloween Party and finally Trick or Treating. I love Halloween, the only thing that I don't like about this holiday is that it is the one day that you are likely to see a clown........and those are just not good in my world. On Friday I was doing some last minute shopping and while I was driving in my car I stopped at a red light, when I looked in my rear view mirror there was a Freaking clown driving behind me.....I almost peed my pants. I debated blowing through the red light, but didn't and couldn't stop looking in my mirror to see if he was getting out of the car to come kill me!!!
Saturday night I went to a kid less Halloween Party and had a lot of fun!



It looks like wounds all over my husband!!! They are tattoo's, he went as a thug,punk,criminal, whatever you want to call it. He managed to steal my gun at some point during the evening!!!


On Sunday it was the kids turn! I had a little punk rocker and Slash(Guns&Roses) not a killer!! lol

2010 Salmon Run

Today we went on a field trip with the kids school to the Salmon Run





Adams River,BC






After a 500km journey 15 million salmon will end up dying where they were born! So as you can guess although there is a lot of them, with all the dead and dying ones the smell is a little nasty!

I don't really have to much to write about today, I was going to use this post for "Random Tuesday Thoughts" but now It is Thursday and It's the first time this week I have had a chance to write.....so here it is.

This weekend is Thanksgiving for us up in the great white north. Yes back in the day the Indians and the Eskimos stopped playing hockey long enough to enjoy a Turkey dinner with some maple syrup! Here is one of my favorite Thanksgiving songs(Is there many??)

Today was a beautiful day 22º(that's 72º for my American friends) My family went hiking and I finally got to take some pictures!!!! I haven't picked up my camera in months. I have been so busy with my 2 jobs, and working at the kids school as well that I haven't had any time, it was really bothering me because photography is my passion and I was just to busy or to tired to even pick up my camera. With the changing of seasons, the leaves are just starting to fall and are the most amazing colours, I just love this time of year.

I do get a break from all the crazy soon! In 17 days, one of my best friends and I(and the hubbies) are heading to Vegas for 4 days!!!

Before I leave I wanted to share a link to another blog. This girl and I went to high school together and recently became friends on facebook. She shared a post she had written the other day and it really surprised me. She had written about an event that had happened in high school that I don't really remember but had stuck with her(for obvious reasons) It just goes to show you that even small things you do can affect people whether it be good or bad.
