RTT brrrr it'd freaking cold up here!!!!!

hmmm randomness. I had a failed photo shoot last night, which really sucks because time is not my friend right now. I set up my living room like a freaking studio last night, strategically placed everything for the perfect Christmas picture......ya not so much. Moving children and improper photography lighting= bad pics. So I will have to make my hubby do them tonight because I work, and tomorrow is my kids Christmas concert and so on.

It is damn freaking cold here right now. I know what you are thinking, you live in Canada and you should be used to it. WELL I AM NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The weather this week is usually weather we have in January. This morning it was -14 (That is about 6.8 F for my American Friends)

Some freak in our city right now is sending hand written letters to the elementary schools, explaining in sick explicit detail on what he wants to do to young girls.WTF? Then another letter was sent saying that they were going to kidnap a young girl this week. scary.

I have decided to take up snowboarding this year, only problem is there is no snow on the mountain yet....well there is a little snow, but not enough to board on. I know what your thinking it's -14 and there is no snow....in Canada???? Seriously. Yes....♫♫♫.I'm dreaming of a brown Christmas.........♫♫

Does anyone actually like the song The little Drummer boy??? It F*#king annoys the hell out of me, always has, and I have yet to find someone who actually does like it.

I have this program on my new laptop(yes new, I broke my other one....just in time for Christmas) Anyways it has this fun webcam video program that you can play with, the kids love it. I have a few to share with you. The first one is long so if you don't watch it all I will understand, I and my children will be crushed and maybe even cry a little, but I will understand. The second video is why I sleep with a crowbar under my bed...........

Maternity Series

My lovely sister in law is being my guinea pig for my photography. I have been taking pics of her since she had just a little bump! Now she is 36 weeks and I thought I would share some of my favorite shots with you.

This first shot was taken when she was around 24 weeks. We were in the middle of a shoot and she just jumped in the air, and I luckily caught it, still is one of my favorites!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American Friends

Wow, it has been a long time since I have been on here. Sorry that I haven't been commenting on your blogs, I still have been reading them though. I'm going to try to get back into this. It's not like I have nothing to blog about, it's just the lack of sun up here in the great white(not white yet) North has been sucking my energy out. Vitamin D from a bottle is just not the same thing.
This is the first year where I actually want it to snow, my family got a ski pass this year and are hitting the slopes, the hill opens in 9 days. I bought my first snowboard the other day, hopefully I don't break my limbs.
So I really don't have to much to say, just thought I would write something to let you know I am still alive. and I leave you with a song, on your Turkey Day!!!!

Most people are getting their information about the H1N1 vaccine from either TV,Newspapers, or radio all probably sponsored by pharmaceutical companies, which only seem to care about money. I want to share this information with as many people as I can, because I find a lot of people are only hearing one side of information, and that is the fear induced media frenzy telling you that if you do not get this vaccine you will die!! So all I ask is that you listen to it, and if you can let other people listen to it as well. I am sure lots of people have already got the vaccine by now, but there still is a lot of people that are unsure.

Halloween Pics

It's been a week since I have been on here, I have been busy with a sick child, my daughter was pretty sick this week. She is now feeling a lot better just left with a nasty cough! Not sure if was the regular flu or the dreaded H1N1, either way she seems to be better now. I'm curious to see what other people are doing regarding the flu shot, to take the shot or not take the shot, that is the question??? Personally I am not taking it, I have done some research and feel that It's not for me, are you getting the shot??
Anyways enough of that, on to the Halloween pictures. I hope everyone had a great Halloween, we did some trick or treating then came home and watched some of the Simpsons "Tree House of Horror!!!!". My husband and I were supposed to go to a Halloween party with friends(I did spend $70 on my costume) But due to unforeseen circumstances we ended up not going, at least I have a costume for next year or for.......oh wait my mom and my brother follow my blog..um ya for next year!

There is this amazing park near our house that has beautiful scenery and natural water springs everywhere. We went there for a hike last night before dinner and we got some great shots. I Love the fall!!!!




Sometimes, because of all the springs the path is washed out, so you have to find ways around, or through it!

Happy Hour Friday!

Random Tuesday just wasn't enough so now I have joined Happy Hour Friday, years ago it would have involved lots of partying,drinking and being out all night.(Which still happens once in awhile) Now my weekends are usually spent hanging out with my fam, which makes me HAPPY!!! We are all so busy all week with work and school, gymnastics, swimming and everything else so the weekends are for us.Also my photography makes me HAPPY .....so my Happy hour Friday will be expressed in pictures!
